O mundo dos negócios pode ser comparado a um laboratótio de ideias, o qual só se sobrevive devido a muita vontade e persistência, e de uma dose cavalar de fé. Não de fé religiosa, mas do sentimento de acreditar no incerto, e ser otimista de que aquilo irá funcionar. Isso, tanto em questões religiosas, quanto em questões financeiras chama-se fé.
Mas é claro, a fé por si só de que algo irá funcionar não te faz vender nem um chiclete a uma criança. A fé só é necessária quando acompanhada de ambição. A grandiosidade, sempre encarada como algo inatingível, e até às vezes impossível para um mero indivíduo torna-se possível aos olhos de quem acredita que pode chegar lá. E é nesse momento em que a fé sai, e o planejamento estratégico entra. Por isso, toda grande ideia anda de mãos dadas com um belo plano, pois de nada adianta o “eu quero ir” sem ter o “para onde”. E ai de quem investe meio milhão em uma vontade. Investe-se sim em um plano. Parrudo. Sólido. Sem brechas. E óbvio, com retorno garantido.
Recentemente, Thomas L Friedman, colunista do NY Times e autor do best-seller “The World is Flat”, criticou em sua coluna para o jornal a situação atual do rumo que os E.U.A vêm tomando em suas políticas gestão. Sua principal crítica gira em torno de gastos e suspensões de investimento sendo creditados nos lugares e no timing errados. Como ele mesmo compara, a “fórmula” de sucesso que moveu os E.U.A até o estado de superpotência em que se encontra está se esvaindo do DNA dos gestores do Estado. Essa fórmula é baseada em cinco pilares distintos que se traduzem em:
- Educar a força de trabalho à atender até e além do que a tecnologia exigir;
- Construir a melhor infraestrutura existente de portos, estradas e telecomunicações;
- Atrair os melhores cérebros do mundo para dentro dos projetos internos;
- Criar as melhores medidas de incentivo à aceitação de riscos, punindo o desleixo proveniente desses;
- E o endosso constante em pesquisas que ajudem a extrapolar os limites da ciência, desenvolvendo novos inventores, contribuindo assim com a adoção das melhores ideias por investidores capitalistas.
Se feitas algumas adaptações, esses são os mandamentos para a sobrevivência de qualquer negócio que deseja se tornar uma superpotência algum dia. Talvez a grande dificuldade esteja em conseguir cumprir à risca todos esses mandamentos, uma vez que eles não estão inseridos no contexto e nos problemas diversos que cada tipo de negócio precisa enfrentar diariamente. Fica aí o exercício. O estímulo ao risco consciente, o estudo constante, e estar sempre rodeado de gênios funciona não só para os negócios, mas também para a vida pessoal, afinal, o que é uma empresa senão uma extensão de nós mesmos?
Obs: releia o texto, troque a palavra “negócio” por “indivíduo” e reflita.
